Every year at the time of the winter solstice, the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet goes into meditation in preparation for the upcoming year. We then get the opportunity to unite with these higher energies, especially during the full moon of April, May and June. The full moon is a universal time when the relationship between humans and the cosmos, earth and heaven moves into the center of the awareness of people and communities across the globe. These three festivals form a peak in the annual flow of energies pouring into humanity during the period of the 12 full moons. They set the note for the rest of the year and symbolize the fact that as we are impacted increasingly by the energies in the Aquarian Age, we stand in our truth and expansion.

Of the three festivals the first is a Christian festival, Easter, and the second a Buddhist festival, Wesak, while the third is known by the names “Festival of Humanity” and the “Festival of Goodwill”. The first 2 Festivals are symbolized by the fact that the Christ and the Buddha are celebrated as two great spiritual brothers, potent and living in the higher dimensions of soul and spirit, working in the closest cooperation for the upliftment and transformation of consciousness. In June full moon the focus is on humanity itself giving birth to the soul and taking its first collective steps on the spiritual path.

The full moon in April called as Easter or called as the “Festival of Resurrection", symbolizes not the “Resurrection of Matter”, but “Resurrection from Matter”.  It symbolizes the Resurrection of Spirit- from the material beliefs and surroundings. It symbolizes the emancipation of the soul from the earthly and material realm to unfold its true essence which is immortal. The Festival of the Resurrection typifies to us the perfected life, the risen life, the glorified life. It is the Festival of Spirit, conquering and to conquer of the risen life, empowered and liberated.
