Book Recommendations

This is a recommended read for people who are new to the term “Ascension”. Unlike most of the Theosophical books that are difficult to understand, Joshua did a great job in compiling and consolidating the spiritual teachings from various books in the easiest and simplest way. His references are from the spiritual teachings of the Alice Bailey books, Keys of Enoch, A Course in Miracles, Edgar Cayce, to name a few. As rightly put in his words,” this book is an Easy to Read Encyclopedia of the Spiritual path”. I simply love this one.

This is a must read for anyone who is interested in spiritualization of matter. On a scale of 1-10, where 1 would stand for an easy read and 10 for an extremely hard to read book, I give this book a score of 9 (10 for me though 😊). However, the content is extremely profound and intense. He does an excellent job in making the reader understand the esoteric meaning of science and trying to provide a synthesis of science and spirituality.

The teachings of the Tibetan Master Djwal Khul through the Alice Bailey books are perhaps my personal favorites. She has written around 24 books and was among the first ones to talk about the New Age. If you have a 3rd ray or a 5th ray mind, the understanding of these books might become easy 😊. The profoundness of her books cannot be explained in words; however, need a lot of mental work and thus can be understood by those who have either lived or are living the experiences of the New Age. Her books carry some association with you no matter what stage of spiritual development you are at. 

Even though her books are related to each other and have parts of every topic that humanity is dealing with at this time of the energy shift on Earth, if there is ONE book that I really have to choose, it would be Discipleship in the New Age Vol 1 and 2 as I could relate to a lot of my life events with the teachings in this one.

If you want to understand the concept of seven rays in depth, I highly recommend Esoteric Psychology Vol 1 and 2 and Rays and Initiations. Rays and Initiations also gives a great insight on the 14 rules of a disciple and initiate. It gives a clear understanding of the various initiations one undergoes on the path of identification with the Spirit.

This is a book that I am very biased towards as this was ‘THE” book that made me start my journey with the Angels. Doreen virtue has written a number of books on angels however, all of them have more or less the same material to offer, and so reading “Healing with the Angels” gives a fair amount of awareness to start connecting with these unconditionally loving beings. The book has a lot of information about the various Archangels and the ways to develop your own personal relationship with each one of them.

We all are not physical beings who want to be spiritual but are spiritual beings having a physical experience. Living in the physical 3 D world makes us completely forget about who we truly are, unless we adhere to our wakeup call that we are programmed with before being born on Earth. This wakeup call can come in the form of near to death experiences like that of the author. This is Anita Moorjnai’s autobiography where she takes us to her personal journey of spiritual awakening- a complete shift from Fear to Love. This is a great weekend read!
